My goal as a Technical Writer and Editor is to improve the user experience and educate customers on how to make the most of your inventive products, whether it is a large-scale finance company, an information technology organization, an advertising platform, or a social media mobile app. In the field of technical writing, I specialize in making complicated terminology and subjects simple to understand, and creating engaging content that gets users delighted about new product features. It might seem odd that an independent filmmaker enjoys technical writing, but even as a filmmaker, I write technically all the time, whether it be explaining step-by-step how to organize files in Adobe Premiere Pro, or developing instruction guides for grad students on how to search effectively in Education databases. Whether fiction writing, or tech writing, I enjoy it all! See my resume for my work experience, and also my portfolio below!

I’m excited to contribute 10 years of experience in the information technology industry to help improve the user experience for users in the software and mobile apps industries. I’ve partnered with designers and user-experience researchers to write, edit and improve the clarity of in-app features and services, all while solving user technical problems at the same time. I look forward to learning more about how I can help your company achieve similar goals.Tweet
